New public hearings have been scheduled regarding the Scottsburg Renewable Energy Center proposed for property south of Scottsburg. Liberty Green Renewables Indiana LLC is requesting a modification to the variance granted to the applicant to move operations from city property to property owned by Tex Murphy. The hearing will be held at Scottsburg High School. The Board of Zoning Appeals will meet at 6 p.m. and the Scott County Area Plan Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. to cover the amended development plan.
